On Jan 11th PFSL opened a new concept restaurant called SRE. This is the first ground up build of this new concept restaurant for Tim Hortons in Ontario. The order process in store is similar to the Drive thru, in that guests place their order and then move to the next register to pay. While doing so, their order is prepared for them. We are finding this process takes some getting used to on the part of our guests, but once they are used to it, the overall order process time ( Speed of Service) is faster. Thanks to QSR’s willingness to experiment and Pioneer new ideas, the restaurant incorporated a number of Green initiatives, including low voltage lighting, light sensors in washrooms and break areas, Solar PV cells on roof and new more environmentally friendly construction materials and methods.
